Tomodachi Life : Survivor Edition is not actually a special edition of Tomodachi Life - rather, it is the title of Vinesauce Tomodachi Life streams that involved a vote by the Vinesauce community on who should be removed from the Island. The character voted the most is the one removed at the end of the stream. One time, a vote for the top 2 people to be removed to be set up. One of the characters about to be removed was Vlinny (a clone of Vinny that has pretty much remained inside his apartment the entire series due to apparently requiring very cold temperatures to live). However, prior to Vinny (real life) checking the votes, he gave approximately 9 thousand dollars to Vlinny so that he may be able to go on a trip to space. Upon realizing that his investment on Vlinny would be permanently lost if he were removed and that no character would ever have gone to space, Vinny (real life) intervenes on the poll, deciding at the last moment that only 1 character would be removed, ensuring that Vlinny would stay in the game and go on the trip.
